Bio
I am a postdoctoral researcher in biomedical ethics, specialized in health law, data protection law, and comparative legal analysis.
About me
My work focuses on the relationship between law and life sciences, and on the impact of legislation on the organization of healthcare systems and the delivery of healthcare services.
I work on health data governance, biomedical research, data protection, public health ethics, assisted reproductive technologies, and the ethical and legal regulation of healthcare innovation.
Background
In 2018, I graduated in European and Transnational Comparative Law from the University of Trento with a Master’s thesis on the legal and ethical issues raised by the provision of experimental treatment to terminally ill patients.
In 2021, I defended my PhD thesis, which focused on the interaction between data protection law and the biomedical field in Switzerland.
I have gained international experience at the School of Law of the University of Reading and at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law of KU Leuven.
